PANEL DESIGN:
Flexible, impactable R-10 panels are 3" thick with insulating foam core. Panels covered with 30 oz. gray polyurethane fabric. Panel retention system keeps panels tight against seals, yet allows panels to swing away from the wall upon impact and automatically reset.
THERMAL AIR™ SEALING SYSTEM:
Blower system and wall-mounted 4½" diameter fabric tube seals around door perimeter constantly circulate warm air. Thick, insulated nose seal and compression bottom seal.
HEADER/TROLLEY ASSEMBLY:
Two piece, 3/16" aluminum extrusion with two integral trolley paths -- one for the panel, and one for the stabilizing trolley. Two trolleys are attached to each panel. Trolley assembly hinged for enhanced panel impactability. Header is canted 3 degrees, center to both ends for positive sealing and reduced seal wear. Self-supporting on two floor-mounted beams constructed of 2" x 3" x 1/8" aluminum tubing.
ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Standard: 220 VAC 1 ph, 50/60 Hz, 30 amps; 208-230 VAC 3 ph, 60 Hz, 30 amps; 380/415 VAC 3 ph, 50/60 Hz, 15 amps; 460 VAC 3 ph, 60 Hz, 15 amps; 575 VAC 3 ph, 60 Hz, 15 amps.
DRIVE SYSTEM:
Synchronous 1-1/2 hp motor controlled by a pre-programmed a.c. inverter. Door commands are processed by a self-diagnostic Rite-Hite Programmable Logic Controller (PLC). Panels driven by a gearbox clutch belt drive system.
CONTROL BOX:
Control box is NEMA 4X and fuse protected. Standard controls include "open" button which flashes upon a fault condition and a power disconnect. The box is prewired with external connections brought into pre-coded terminals.
SAFETY FEATURES:
Fast, bi-parting action helps prevent impact. Flexible panels help prevent impact damage. Automatic reversing when obstruction is encountered in opening. Drive clutch automatically disengages on loss of power and allows manual operation. Optional 4-pane 14" x 32" vision panels, fabric accent panels and GuardRite® protective railing system.
DRIVE SYSTEM DEFROST:
Required on cold side freezer mount only. Closed system blower within header does not inject warm air into freezer. Requires second 12" x 10" x 6" control box (provided).
